When Loot Messages came out, just for fun, you could Emote and it looked like a Loot message.

I think I was in High Pass and I emoted "Worthy has looted a Fiery Defender" and some pally in our group started spazing out bitching it was no drop and how could I be so stupid! I think he even reported me for taking a Pally weapon. We were all pretty low level and the game was still new.

I also liked Emoting "Worthy has gone LinkDead" during pulls.

Yup, that's half right! The GMs would participate in the duels, cast GM illusions on folks, death touches, forcing everyone to sit, etc..
