I don't understand people that don't travel and see all of the beauty and diversity that our world has to offer. I can understand not having the means, but do people really just not want to see other places?

New things scare some people. Back in my home town there are plenty of folks who have never left the state of Ohio and like it that way just fine.

I'm not one of those people.

I guess if I could snap my fingers and be there it'd be cool. But really, I'm not so compelled to see it that I want to leave home and go through all the hassle and cost of travel just to see it.

Like I said, I like home. Then again, maybe it's just that my home rocks.

I live in Cali, and I prefer to stay on the West Coast...

edit: I'll probably hit up Washington D.C. one of these days for the sake of those who earned this country and all.

The DC metro area is pretty nice and worth seeing. I live in Baltimore and head down there at least once a month.

Michigan originally, now Florida.

Been to a few bordering states for various things.

But I live on a nice 4-acre piece of land with horses and my cats and other animals, in an extremely quiet country area, overlooking a large, clean lake. I find little reason to jump in a car and drive around for hours/days to see some random podunk places when there's plenty to do and see here, and with all the amenities of home to boot! =D
