My world map doesn't look very impressive. State map, however...

We plan on seeing a few more at the end of summer.

Not nearly as many places as I'd like to go.

I'm not nearly the world traveler I thought I was. Heh. I have been to the Canadian side of Niagra falls, but It was so insignificant, I'm not even going to count it.

TAROT: The states that I have that you don't: You aren't missing much, trust me.

Kinda pointless really.

I mean, so you hit a some sea port in Canada and claim to have been to Canada?

That is like going to Tijiuana and saying you been to Mexico.

I've seen the important parts - the rest is flyover country. *Awaits reprisals* I'm not a very good troll, lol.

Mount Rushmore?

The Badlands?

I don't understand people that don't travel and see all of the beauty and diversity that our world has to offer. I can understand not having the means, but do people really just not want to see other places?

New things scare some people. Back in my home town there are plenty of folks who have never left the state of Ohio and like it that way just fine.

I'm not one of those people.

I guess if I could snap my fingers and be there it'd be cool. But really, I'm not so compelled to see it that I want to leave home and go through all the hassle and cost of travel just to see it.

Like I said, I like home. Then again, maybe it's just that my home rocks. ;)

I pity people that have no desire to see the world. Seriously, that's just kind of sad and depressing. Never left your state? That's mind-boggling.

Where do you live, Bov?

Michigan originally, now Florida.

Been to a few bordering states for various things.

But I live on a nice 4-acre piece of land with horses and my cats and other animals, in an extremely quiet country area, overlooking a large, clean lake. I find little reason to jump in a car and drive around for hours/days to see some random podunk places when there's plenty to do and see here, and with all the amenities of home to boot! =D

BTW, I've been to south dakota and you're not missing anything. I took this picture en route from Sioux Falls to Yankton in '06 in a rental car. It was the second official day of spring...
