I made some T-shirt designs and posted them for sale.
What do you think?

If I sell any, I get a $5.00 commission off of it. I do not expect to make a whole lot, but, there is no up front cost to do this with the company.

I *hate* the fonts.

If you are completely fucked, and in dire need of cash and can't have anyone do the design for you...I'll do something. I do like the art cartooning of you, that's not bad at all.

Reworking the fonts will be pretty easy, and if you want it done just let me know the size, file format it has to be in, send me the original file, and let me know the dpi (I'm going to assume it needs to be 300).

I will also redo the sketch so it's in WHITE for the black shirt and doesn't look like ass.

As far as the fortress of the mind, I couldn't see it because it didn't allow me to make the shirt bigger. If it's totally bad, and you really want something better...I can work on a real life drawing, but as I do graphics work in between calls on my main job, it will probably take a couple weeks to do it well.

They cost too much, Worthy. You need to hit the 14.99 to 19.99 price range if you're going to have any hope of selling a significant amount. It's really cheap to screen t-shirts anymore, and you can buy cheap ones for under 10 bucks if you look around. Better quality stuff is a bit more, but you're going to have a really narrow market for a 30 dollar t-shirt.

Oh I missed the pricing, yeah that's way too much. I can get a t-shirt from woot for $10 w/ free shipping...or $15 if I'm ordering one that was released previously.

I used the design tool they had.

They let you upload your graphic, give you a few fonts and text placement.

I did not expect much as far as sales. I was thinking of making the black one for when I set up a Booth at ConnectiCon to sell my CD's if they are done by then.

Is there any good online stores that does what this company does for a smaller price?? You design a T-shirt online, they sell it and print it as ordered, then send you commissions? I set my commissions for these shirts at $5, not really expecting any real profit, but, just to try it out.

Thank you.

I hope you didn't pay anything for that or expect anything from it either.

I did not pay a thing.
IT was free to set up.
I just wanted to try it.

Here is what I put together fast on Cafe Press:
http://www.cafepress.com/ArtTheHypnotist

Cheaper, but, they did not have a text option.
I will have to make the whole thing and upload.

Tarot, if you want to give it a shot, I am attaching a bit map of my original Artwork for both logo's on an E-mail and sending them to you.

Thank you.

To be honest, you're going to have difficulty selling shirts with your face on them. While a T-shirt souvenir for your show is a great idea, the only people who get away with having their faces on T-shirts are celebrities, and then usually it's only musicians.

You want to sell shirts, come up with a unique logo for hypnotism that looks cool. Black shirts sell better than white shirts, so keep that in mind. Make sure that any text you have works around the logo, not vice versa. And, as others have already said, make sure it's reasonably priced.

I personally prefer T-shirts with the main logo/picture on the back and something smaller on the front, but you may want to ask around and see which most people prefer.
