June 2nd, 2009, Eddings passed away. How no one caught this is beyond me. According to his brother he was working on a new novel that was "unheard of" in the realm of Fantasy.

Go to Amazon.com and put in his name. He and his wife co-wrote numerous books, probably the best known being the Belgarath series.

Man, that sucks. Eddings was one of the original authors that got me into fantasy, and thus AD&D, and thus MMOs.

I always thought I'd have time to enact my revenge.

Seriously though, this really does suck. I haven't seen much from him (and his wife) recently, but I have fond memories from his books.
I liked Elenium/Tamuli better though. Lotta good humor.
