Anyone doing anything fun? I'm working, and I'll probably sneak out and try to see Star Trek on the IMAX. And BBQ here maybe one day, assuming the spouse feels like dragging it out of the garage and cleaning it. So in other words, lazy weekend here, nothing tremendously cool.

So anyone going anywhere cool or doing anything fun? :D Oh and I've noticed gas prices are already creeping up. :(

Sadly, I believe Star Trek is only on IMAX for it's first two weekends. You have probably missed it.

Crap. :( I just checked on Fandingo and you're right.

Oh well. I'll see it at the regular theater for cheaper then. :)

I was thinking about loading up the dirtbikes and going riding, but I'm probably going to some lame bbq instead.

For some reason I thought the Decatur Arts Festival was this weekend but apparently it's not. I gotta look harder to see if anything worthwhile is going on in Atlanta to risk getting mugged/murdered.

Nothing of any particular import.

I'm probably going to the aquarium and world of coke.

lived in atlanta all my life and I've never been to the world of coke. I'm a pepsi guy so I just said 'meh' to it, but apparently it's actually pretty fun.

I think my girlfriend wants to go to the zoo too.

We went to the zoo yesterday Van. It's awesome in this weather, and completely deserted on Monday, heh.

Funny, I've never been to world of coke either. Tell me if it's any good.

I could google 'World of Coke' but I've never heard of it, and I'd much rather hear about it from you if you go Van. Take pictures! I assume it hasn't gotten muggy down there yet?

Weather here has been oddly muggy (in Southern CA). There's lots to do, but it either costs money or will be really crowded, or it's too far away and I have to work. Meh. Maybe like Sunday night if I can manage to clean the house this week I'll have the neighbors over for booze, BBQ and poker. Odds are not high on the cleaning though. =\

dude, it's been "cold" this week (highs in the high 60s, lows in the high 40s) this week.

I still haven't decided yet, I may just stay in and watch movies cause I've been in a people hating mood lately.

Tarot, look for a Digital Theater near you, High Def ftw. I didn't know the new theaters were all digital until my BF pointed it out.

As for memorial weekend, I'll probably (hopefully) will be working for the first time at the place I just got hired for both days. It's a bit scary to start working as costumer service rep. of a very busy store in a very busy park on a very busy weekend for the first time ever... but... hey, I'm ready!

I went with my family to some large Coca Cola thing in Atlanta as a kid, I imagine it was the world of coke. Only thing I remember is tasting the experimental flavors.

Taking family to Abbey Road by the River... Largest Beatles Festival in the United States held in Louisville, KY.

I like the Beatles and all but, i'm not sure how much i'll enjoy this but, she's obsessed.

Anyway, I can turn any trip into a good time by eating at the right places.

Haha no. They had some interesting alternative flavors but nothing could have replaced the original coke.

I can't drink soda (stupid diamox medication makes it taste awful) but I've been seeing ads for retro Pepsi with...REAL SUGAR! Mmm. So how much better does it taste? /drool

It doesn't taste much different, but the aftertaste is kinda crappy =/

I know that soda in canada is flavored with sugar and not hfcs, but canadian soda tastes better than the "throwback" they're offering for mt. dew and pepsi.

I moved last weekend, using this weekend to hopefully unpack everything I haven't unpacked and do some laundry to get ready for my vacation to New York City. Just another weekend, so to speak...
