Someone on another forums said you can register using a CD key from another blizzard game, like starcraft...

If you're in North America, you can just merge your WoW account and that works too. Even if it's not currently active.

Anything more than like $20 I'd have a hard time justifying to myself, but the 7000-8000 gold I have in WoW I wouldn't hesitate to part with.

That would be funny. So after paying to beta test their game, AND dropping $150 on 3 "games".. We're in Neo Geo territory at that point.
