A few times out of the million times I refresh lanysboard a day I'm not able to load the page due to too many requests. That has me wondering, just how many lurkers do we have around here? Is there a decent chunk of people who never even played on Lanys?

What's the ballpark figure on daily unique hits around here?

Are you a frequent lurker around here who rarely posts? If so, please come out of the shadows just this once to say hi. Did you play on Lanys? How did you find us?

Lanysboard.com is on a shared hosting plan with Cyberwurx llc, it happens time to time. If it keeps happening I will bitch and they will move our little piece of the internet to a bigger server.

O trust me I don't want him back. I don't think anyone does. But I do lament the fact that there are very few posters in sports boards, and that makes me sad cause one thing I enjoy to do (whether I am right or wrong) is debate sports with other sports fans...

Ok, I have to ask. I missed what went on with Skycrasher, someone fill me in.

Someone made a comment something to the tune of "I wonder how the school you work for would like it if we sent them your comments on these boards" (paraphrased) and he freaked out. He wanted all of his posts to be erased, etc., and decided to leave the boards forever for fear of someone "eTelling" on him.

I post on the sports forum. My tidbits must not be interesting however...

I like to post there about college football.

The sports forum has fallen due to the fact that of maybe 10 people that post there, we're interested in about 6 different sports, heh. I don't really care for most pro sports, and a lot don't really care for college. /shrug

I guess I am a lurker. I played on Lanys for many years, but quit to make the push to finish my schooling about 2005 or 6. I never really posted much because I was worried about the "skycrasher effect" of posting. However, now that I have my job, I feel less and less worried about being me. I started reading this forum to fill in for the mid-day distraction the RoA boards used to provide.

I come on here maybe once/twice a day post occasionally. Guess I could be called A LURKER

I lurk about 3 different forums, never been much of a big poster tho. I could probably be alot more active in the sports forum but all i really like is football.

I come here fairly often....don't post much. Ever since I made a massive arse of myself I've tended to sit back and listen to both sides of the discussion.
